Before I can log on a code is supposedly sent to my email. The code is never shows up. Yes, I checked junk mail. This happens with the app as well. So now I can't access my account. And guess what - NO WAY TO GET CUSTOMER SUPPORT! If I can ever get on I will cancel my subscription. This is not the only alias email service available.

I am a long time paying customer. And when I say long time, I'm talking since as far back as at least 2013 when some of my first masked emails were created. Before IronVest (when it was known as DNTMe/Abine Blur), everything was pretty good. There were some issues, but nothing like there has been over the last 4-5 years. Every single feature has gone downhill since the IronVest rebrand. The GUI in the desktop version is buggy, the desktop extension has been buggy for YEARS, the Android and iOS mobile apps are buggy and slow to load, passwords don't always sync between devices or save for that matter. Lots of stupid things that can be easily fixed. For example, when using 2FA when logging into the IronVest dashboard on desktop, just below the box where you enter the code,IronVest will tell you "Looks good!" Seriously? What do you mean, "looks good"? You have no clue what the code from my authenticator app is, and to imply that it looks good is ridiculous from a security perspective. Furthermore, if I fat-finger my 2FA code, you show an error so why tell me it looks good when I'm typing it in. Just stupid. This past February, IronVest was not forwarding masked emails to my primary email address. It was a known issue but there was no communication to customers. Turns out there was a DMARC misconfiguration for one of their masked email domains. There are so many annoying and aggravating issues that I will not be renewing my subscription for myself or my family. Instead of adding so many features that add bloat to the extension and app - including pushing your Ivy AI in the extension, why not focus on making your desktop extension and mobile apps better. Focus on the basics. To potential users, read the reviews. I can no longer recommend the extension or the mobile apps. I don't trust this company has it together to protect my accounts, and all the other information I've given them over the years.

I used to think that IronVest was a good investment in my quest to try to keep safe on the web by masking. However, as time went on with me asking about Blur and how IronVest came into the picture and why I have to do some things in Blur and some things in IronVest I just stopped paying into it. The IronVest desktop app has become very confusing whether you have a "premium" membership or not. There are some features that still do not function after years, and what about that is supposed to make you feel safe when this company issues and holds/house email addresses, passwords, and credit cards....especially when there are already so many data breaches out here with the dark web. It's a No for Me!

Ironvest ruined this product. The email masking was one of the more useful features, but now it takes 60 minutes or more for an email to appear, if it appears at all. This is unusable. We have used Ironvest since the Blur & DoNotTrack days - more than 12 years now. We've given them months to fix the issues with basic functions that Ironvest introduced when they took over Blur. It is obviously NOT a top priority for them, as they claim. The migration to a new service will be a serious undertaking, but will take less time than waiting for emails. Stay away from Ironvest if masked emails are important to you.

This review focuses on the email & phone forwarding features of Ironvest, which they call Masked Emails and Masked Phone, respectively. Masked phone allows you to create a phone number to provide on websites, etc., which forwards phone calls and texts to your real number, so you don't have to risk it being sold or leaked. If you start getting spam from a caller, you simply block them. It used to work, though it was a bit clunky because you can't reply directly to text messages. Unfortunately, now it doesn't work for me at all. I don't get any calls or texts at this number, and I tested it by sending myself a message from a different number. Masked emails used to work better. You can create individual forwarding email addresses for each website or business you deal with so that if you start getting spam at that address, you know where it originated from. You can easily turn these addresses on or off or simply delete them. However, about 4 months ago, I noticed that there was a significant delay in some emails being forwarded, and some never got forwarded at all. I estimate that the delay ranges from 7 to 17 hours, with an average of about 12 hours. In addition, the Ironvest server is marking some emails as spam, which it should not do unless I marked a sender as spam. It does not forward emails that are marked as spam. I no longer feel I can rely on this feature, since I have to manually check the Ironvest email inbox instead of counting on them being forwarded to my real email address. I haven't used the other features much. The masked credit card feature worked ok, but it ties up whatever amount of money you put on a virtual credit card. There's a tracker blocking feature, but it currently only works on Chrome or Firefox. I found that it tended to break website functionality, so I turned it off, and now I use the Brave browser, which has the function built in. I contacted Ironvest customer support about the email forwarding problems, but they didn't know what was causing the problem, although they claim that resolving it is a top priority. But in the last 4 months, the problem has only gotten worse. Ironvest offers a lot in the way of privacy protection, but their features are useless if they don't work as claimed.

This is some of the best software that I have ever used. Plus, their customer support team is truly outstanding. IronVest provides great security, plus it keeps track of all of my passwords. When I sign onto a website IronVest populates my user i.d. (or email address) and my password. Also, if needed, my name and address and bank card information. This is so convenient! There are lots of other great services that IronVest provides, I just mentioned these because they are the ones that I use the most.

Does what I need it to do with a minimum of fuss, display, and redirects. Communication between the site and the app needs work, though. I fear losing my system and then trying to recover my passwords with no sync.

No longer seems to block trackers.

Don't bother. This thing went downhill fast when they moved from Blur to Ironvest. They bang on about masked cards but they haven't been available for over a year and not given update on when they'd be back. I finally cancelled. I was a premium user for the longest time and I can't even access my account since I've been downgraded to basic. This company is shite.

Subject: Feedback on Recent Extension Update Dear Ironvest Team, I appreciate the introduction of the new security features in the extension; however, I have some concerns regarding usability. I noticed that the autofill functionality for usernames and passwords is no longer available, which has become quite inconvenient. Additionally, the extension no longer appears when I right-click, requiring me to manually click on it to retrieve my credentials, which disrupts my workflow. Moreover, I find myself having to input my password each time I need to copy a password, making the process rather repetitive. I preferred the functionality of the previous version. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on these issues. Thank you for your attention.

This software has gone downhill since it was Blur. It is much harder to use now. It doesn't handle incorrect passwords well and you occasionally get locked out and there is no log in option. Even if you log in and access the password directly through the dropdown there is no way to replace a bad password. These people really need to try actually using this software as a user.

I been using for many years and it's been extremely helpful in managing my passwords across devices and freeing me of spam. Having access to temporary emails linked to my email, and being able to reply without exposing my real email is priceless. It's also very handy to manage all your browsing sites, with it's unique login, password and email.

It is worse since the name-change and various updates. Mobile app name/password transfer never worked well but now it is almost useless. Still getting adverts for biometrics and other features which I can't use in the Netherlands. We don't all live the US!!

This is malware. It's invasive and takes over EVERYTHING and starts saving your entered passwords without permission. There is no way to disable this unless you do it one by one for each website.

Not only is the extension great, but some of the website features are truly helpful. I had thrown away a theater ticket receipt, then later decided to change the date for the ticket. Unfortunately, cancellations aren't via the theater's app, but through the ticket confirmation email, which now was nowhere to be found on any of my devices. Enter Ironvest (formerly Blur). Their temporary inbox stores emails using their masking addresses for up to two months. And there is where I found the deleted email and was able to re-forward it to my devices. Saved me about $20 right there. Thanks, Abine/Ironvest!

This was one of the best tools I have ever used and then the transfer to a new name broke it. No amount of re-importing the files from my previous blur account has resolved this. I've been fighting this for weeks it's it's frustrating. I got what I paid for and I'm switching to another service.

Been using Blur for years and it just recently turned into ironvest even more secure amazing amazing product I recommend not only Blur but also use delete me too.

Was a Blur user. I'm glad IronVest is doing password retrieval. The app on the iphone is a little clunk with Safari, but it does sync between PC and phone, a feature you have to pay for with LastPass.

After Ironvest took over, I've noticed that the extension is messing with sites even when it is supposedly turned off for them. I'm not sure what's going on and don't value it enough to dig into it further, but this is your warning: the extension is not doing what it tells you it is doing.

When it works it's very good. It just doesn't work very well. When it's time to renew I won't. Blur and Delete Me were great but since IronVest took over the program has gone to Hell in a hand basket.
